Manages the HR (Human Resource) compensation function for all levels of the organization. Oversees compensation and recognition program design, administration and policies that support business strategy and aligns with established compensation philosophy. Ensures that programs are competitive, fair, and comply with applicable laws and regulations.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary: $125,000-165,000 plus annual bonus opportunity
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration, equity, and inclusion. Provide mentorship and growth opportunities to support team members' success.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive compensation strategy aligned with business goals and company philosophy. Oversee the design and administration of compensation and recognition programs, collaborating with senior leadership, board committee, and external partners to ensure competitiveness, attract top talent, and drive employee engagement.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of compensation-related information and reports to HR, Finance, business leaders and other stakeholders. Develop communication materials and conduct training sessions for managers and employees on compensation topics. Address employee inquiries and concerns regarding compensation matters.
  • Initiate various analysis projects to evaluate data, including external surveys, market trends, and internal metrics, to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership and board committees.
  • Remain current on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to compensation. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), ERISA and equal pay regulations.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Proven experience in compensation, including executive compensation, with strong knowledge of design principles, practices, and theories.
  • Demonstrated leadership with ability to effectively develop and coach others while fostering an inclusive work environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and deliver effective presentations at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and change management skills, with strong planning and organizational abilities. Able to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and thorough follow-through.
  • Proficient in compensation survey analysis, benchmarking, and compensation management software, with advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing compensation
  • Ability to develop and operate within budget

  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
  • Ability to travel and work in office at Omaha, Nebraska location up to 6 times a year.

PREFERRED:

  • Certifications such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), CBP, CEBS, SHPR, SHRM-SCP
  • Financial Services industry experience
