WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Required Hybrid Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm, CST, required to go into the Omaha, NE office, for 1-2 days per week.
  • Estimated Hourly Wage: $21.35, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Receive incoming calls from members who have lost their insurance coverage with their employer.  
  • Help former members complete continuation forms, calculate insurance premiums due, review requests for completeness, request/validate information and handle the enrollment/certificate creation when received.   
  • Diffuse escalated call situations as needed.  
  • Evaluate and maintain policy holder eligibility, ensuring compliance with coverage requirements, policy contracts and state and federal laws. 
  • Ensure accuracy in billing statements and premium payments. Identify, evaluate and resolve eligibility and billing entries.  

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Proficient with personal computer and Microsoft applications, typing and data entry skills with strict attention to detail. 
  • Ability to operate a computer keyboard and calculator throughout the work period.  
  • Excellent customer service and relationship building skills. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Sound judgment, creativity, adaptability and flexibility. 
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Ability to work at our home office located in Omaha, Nebraska, in a hybrid environment. 

PREFERRED:

  • Experience in professional office roles involving insurance products and services.  
  • Knowledge of eligibility requirements, interpreting contract provisions, and applicable federal and state laws. 
  • Knowledge of contract provisions and the ability to communicate in terms a customer can easily understand.
