In this role, you’ll spend your day reviewing policy details  on new and existing business, partnering with business partners to  resolve discrepancies ensuring accurate documentation is created and distributed. Your work directly impacts the organization by ensuring policy accuracy, compliance, and a seamless experience for clients and internal teams.

  • Estimated Salary: $22.75 - $27.00, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Ensure Accuracy & Clarity – Review and analyze case information to include correspondence and the Group Sales Application (GSAP) and the underwriter's instructions to determine the intent of the coverages requested for standard and the less complicated non-standard new groups and revisions to existing groups. You will work with the underwriter and/or field reps to resolve any problems or discrepancies encountered in the file information. Prepare documentation to clarify issues and communicate changes to all affected areas. 
  • Create & Distribute Policy Documents – Format and issue policies, certificates, and plan descriptions, ensuring they align with sold coverage and meet state requirements. 
  • Enhance Compliance & Readability – Analyze drafts of materials prepared by the policyholder, field representative or Underwriter to ensure accurate definition of the intended liability. You will work with compliance area on changes to improve content for clarity or readability and resolve any related problems.  
  • Oversee Policy Production – Manage policy formatting, printing, and distribution, securing approvals and ensuring timely delivery to field offices. 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Strong MS Word & Time Management Skills – Confidently create, format, and issue policy documents while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment. 
  • Detail-Oriented Analysis – Review contract information, underwriting instructions, and applications to ensure accuracy in coverage requests. 
  • Problem-Solving Mindset – Collaborate with underwriters and field representatives to resolve discrepancies and clarify policy details. 
  • Compliance & Quality Focus – Work with compliance teams to refine policy language for clarity, readability, and regulatory alignment.

  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • GSAP experience 
  • Insurance experience 
  • Insurance contract knowledge
