Protecting the Wild Season 1 was nominated for four Daytime Emmy® Awards, including best travel, nature and adventure program. These nominations showcase the team’s dedication to an outstanding wildlife television series.


Protecting the Wild earns Telly Awards
Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom Protecting the Wild has received several Telly Awards, recognizing broad achievements across the entire production. The Telly Awards is the world’s largest honor for video and television content across all screens.


Dr. Rae Wynn-Grant Wins Gracie Award
Co-Host Dr. Rae Wynn-Grant received the 2025 Gracie Award for On-Air Talent — Lifestyle, Entertainment. The award is presented by the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation, highlighting Dr. Rae’s tremendous achievements.


Environmental Media Association Green Seal
Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom Protecting the Wild earned the Environmental Media Association’s (EMA) Green Seal in recognition of sustainable production practices. We’re honored to be recognized for our dedication to sustainability.
